COO – Law Firm
A central Essex law firm have a new role for a COO, which offers an outstanding opportunity for the right candidate to utilise their skills as an effective leader and decision maker, embracing both operations and finance.
Created to support the Managing Partner and Management Committee, you will oversee the management and administrative operations of the firm. Key responsibilities will include driving financial profitability and maximising fee earner efficiency. Liaising closely with Heads of Departments, the COO will analyse Firm and department performance, understand resource and recruitment needs and guide the commercial direction and balance of legal services.

Finance Director – Law firm
Leading S.E firm based in Sussex seeking a Finance Director who will play a key role in helping to drive further improvements in profitability and growth. CFO – Law firm
Our client is a medium sized specialist Law Firm with one location in central London. They are looking for a CFO to provide strategic commercial, financial leadership and advice to the partners. You will be a member of the firm’s Executive Committee working closely with the senior management on longer-term commercial strategy and day-to-day running of the firm.
Culture is key for this firm, they are looking for an individual who will influence and persuade, but in the right way. This is not a firm of raised voices, it is about being data and logic rather than emotion driven decision making.
COO – Design Practice
Our client is a London based design studio that has gained international recognition for its thoughtful and innovative approach to sensitive sites and complex, ambitious projects. They are recruiting a COO, who will be responsible for all operation, non-architectural and non-design, aspects of the practice and is pivotal in pulling together all functions of the business to ensure that it thrives.They are looking for someone who can demonstrate leadership and application of business functions across Finance, HR, Facilities, Company Administration, Administrative Support, Project Operations and Communications to provide assurance to the board of directors and help inform decision making. CFOO – Architects
Our client is a high profile Architectural firm, based in central London. They want to appoint their first CFOO who will lead and run all non architectural aspects of the business. They are an EOT and have grown headcount by 50% over that last year. Reporting into the main Directors, you must be able to use financial acumen and data together with people skills to provide the Directors with the right information to make decisions. They must also know when to elevate and escalate issues and when to inform but to take the initiative. It is key that you must be enthusiastic and dynamic but also consultative and collegiate –an excellent cultural fit for the organisation.
Head of Finance – Architect
Following recent growth and strategic opportunities that are unfolding for our client, an Architectural Practice, there is a requirement to appoint their first Head of Finance. As Head of Finance, who will oversee a Finance team of five individuals, reporting directly to the CFOO. You will produce the annual HR plan, including regular HR activities and discrete projects in line with business needs, changes in employment law, best practice and government legislation. Provide day to day advice on people issues to partners and managers to ensure that situations are handled fairly and sensitively with consideration to employment law and risk to the firm. Liaising with the Employment department / Managing Partner as appropriate. Head of Partnership Accounting & Tax – Law Firm
To have primary responsibility for the accounting and reporting of profit shares, tax reserves, payments, disbursements and capital on a partner by partner basis, across multi-jurisdictions and multi-currencies. To be the centre of knowledge regarding all financial arrangements for all partners globally, not only in connection with current account and capital account but, vitally, also in connection with tax reserves for each current and former partner. To act as the interface between the Partner Affairs team and other teams within finance (e.g. management accounts, tax, financial accounts, decision support and financial planning, etc) as well as with relevant external parties (auditors, accountants, tax accountant, etc), and internal members of the Tax team on all matters relating to accounting and reporting of partners’ personal financial relationship with the Firm.
